On our way to Nevada we always stay at Homolovi State Park in Winslow, Arizona (yes the same "standing on the corner in Winslow, Arizona" made popular by the Eagles hit Take it Easy). Just down the road is an old abandoned county park called the Little Painted Desert. Although the park isn't here the Little Painted Desert remains for a sight to see!
